Major Operations | ||
| In the six months the company
was in Vietnam it spent a total of about seven weeks
occupying the Horseshoe, and
participated in five major operations. Whilst on the
Horseshoe and in between the major operations, the
platoons spent most of their time patrolling in the task
force TAOR (Tactical Area of Responsibility), with
usually a two or three day rest period in base. For each of the following operations V Company was under command of 2RAR. |
